iWelcome to my light laboratory and the magic of nature that inspires me. In addition to the vignettes of light shows projected throughout the interior, my photographs take you from the garden below to the sky above my roof-top pavilion.
Moments are fleeting, sometimes split seconds. Whether it’s conjuring/observing a dragon in the clouds or a double helix projected on the wall, the iPhone and Leica M8 are always at the ready. Several of the images in this collection were processed with filters from Apps, such as ShakeIt and CameraBag.
My studio sits in the Chicago Arts District, developed over the last forty years by the Podmajersky family. I have lived and worked in East Pilsen with my ex-husband and dear friend Bill Stamets since 1996.
